Fetch Execute Cycle- Ch. 2

There were many things that we got to work on these past two weeks in chapter two. One of the main topics that we used in this chapter was the Fetch Exectute Cycle. What the fetch execute cycle is, is it take information from the computer or a command that you want it to do, it retrieves the information, decodes what it wants to do with it, and then executes the information by doing what you want it to do. Now the speed and everything else that goes into it, is absolutely amazing and it is astonishing how fast it does work. In this next papragraph I will give you an example on how the Fetch execute cycle works in my life.

Relating this to my regular daily life is something that came very easy for me. My example would have to be an ATM machine. Now that I am a college student I do not really use this machine as much, but it is still a good example. When you get up to the machine you put in your credit or debit card, which for the computer this is retieving the information, you then plug in how much money you want to take out of your card and from the machine, for the computer this is decoding what you want to be done, once the machine has figured out how much money you want to take out, it then will give you the money that comes out of the machine, for the computer this is executing the information, or doing what you want to happen. This is only one example that I have in my life, where the Fetch execute Cycle comes into my life, but there are plenty more.
