Since I've been in college, I've received a total of twelve Facebook emails from my "friends" or at least hackers pretending to be my friends. The emails says things such as "look at this video someone posted of you on youtube" or "look at this cool link." A link is then presented to you and all too often, people clink on their link and it downloads a virus onto their computer.
Passwords are very important to a college students life. A password is the only thing that stops people from seeing student's grades, bank accounts, schedule, along with many other things. It is important to realize never to give a password away to anyone! This was a key component in Chapter 3 and I think it is prevalent in a college student's life. Too often students think it is okay to lend their password to their roommate, friends, and classmates. In order to protect one's identity, they must also protect their passwords!
