Dorm rooms like OS

In chapter 3, we talked about Operating systems. In operating systems one duty it has is to protect and keep your computer safe. In doing so, they use firewall. While keeping your computer safe, you need to get lots of passwords! At Hope college, all dorms have passwords and cards needed to get into the initial building. Once inside the building, you still either need a key, or a code to get into your room. There are many reasons that you would not want someone getting inside your dorm, mainly to protect your room, just as in a computer, no one want anyone else accessing their information. On your computers you want to make sure you pick your password out so its secure and that no one can enter your private zone.

You protect things that are important to you, like files on your computer, or things in your room. Passwords can help make sure that these things are kept safe.
