Networks Are Like Teams

Chapter four is about networking and the internet. Networks are linked computer systems that can exchange messages and share resources. The components of networks are media, protocol, and layers. These components remind me of my Hope cross country team. The media are all the runners that keep the team together. Without every single one of the runners we wouldn't be the strong team we are. The protocol are our coaches. They set the rules and goals for our team to follow. The layers are the team's captains. They organize all of the team dinners and team activities. It would be very hard to function without them. With all of the components working together we are guaranteed to have a successful team (network). :)
