Probing further into Brookshear's text, I learned about networks. Networks function like rivers. They flow and provide necessary nourishment (in the case of the river its water, and in the case of the network its the internet.) Without these river life as we know it would surely perish. Both rivers and the networks act as dumping ground for humanity. All of the unwanted human bile winds up somewhere between the Potomac and 4Chan. The internet is constantly expanding without end much like human civilization.
Like ancient civilizations, there are relics of bygone eras scattered across the internet. Perhaps, one day internet archaeologists will dig the remains of the greats of era such as Youtube and Google. Perhaps these archaeologists will be able to glean about turn of the millenia culture. Or perhaps they will think we were all insane and assume that there was something in our water.
